About Facilities

Facilities is the committee responsible for managing access, premises, and all the cool stuff in ownership of the guild ;) You can find us in iDét where we often have something going on; it can be anything from building new cabinets, painting walls, or cleaning our micros. We do this every Thursday during "Fix evenings" and 3-4 times a year during Snickerboa.

Fun gadgets we have in iDét

Facilities manage these fun gadgets:

  • Boss [pronounced "bu:s"] is the sign hanging above the bar in iDét, displaying, among other things, funny videos, and sorting algorithms.
  • Hugo [pronounced "yg:å"] is the sign hanging in iDét, which is Boss's predecessor and can only display the color red, currently running Game of Life.
  • Sparky is our beloved arcade machine standing in the corner of iDét. You can play a lot of old games on it, including ones from arcades, NES, and Gameboy Advanced.

Head of Facilities

As Head of Facilities you are responsible for the guild's premises and inventory. The head of facilities also leads the Facilities.

    root is in charge of the servers and hardware. root also leads the root Group , that works with the servers.

      As sudo you assist root in their work of taking care of the guild's servers and other hardware.

        Audiovisual Technician

        As Audiovisual Technician you are responsible for the guild's sound and lighting equipment, and you ensure that they are available during guild events, such as Ä&&P.
