Hello! In the autumn darkness now when all the exams are done and the new courses are underway, there is no better way to recharge than with some running! So, I will be leading running sessions on Mondays, starting today! The sessions are beginner-friendly and suitable for both experienced runners and those who haven't run at all! We will meet outside the E-building at 17:15 and will run for a maximum of 1 hour! 🏃🏃‍♀️

During the sewing night on Monday 6/11 the D-shopen will be open in iDét! Everyone from the D-guild are welcome to come and buy merch and patches, whether you want to join the sewing night or not. The D-shop will be open from 17:15 🥰🥰

Link to event Geekend is the D-guilds own LAN party! For one weekend we'll fill the cellar of the E-house with anything from VR to movies to games and other fun activities. Bring your own computer (even if it's a desktop! We offer transportation!) and come down to iDét November 10-12! We'll also be organizing tournaments in Smash Bros and Beat Saber, wouldn't want to miss that! If you don't have your own computer, or just don’t feel like playing computer games, no worries! There will be plenty of other things to do. Why not try our VR setup, play on our Switch, play dart or ping pong, try all our board games, practice your coding, or get a group and bake some delicious brownies? So, whatever you wanna do, with a group or by yourself, come to iDét and let's have an awesome time together! Feel free to come and go whenever you want! Would you rather spend the weekend coding with our web committee? If you're interested in helping us improve the guild webpage DWWW will be hosting a hackathon during Geekend. They'll be rewriting our webpage into the more modern framework Svelte! It's a perfect opportunity for those of you looking to try out a real web development project. Do you know the guild has VR, Switch and Wii? Do you know that guild members can use these whenever they want? Do you also know how to set up these consoles so you can use them whenever you want? This Monday, November 6, during the sewing night, I will show how to set up our consoles so that you can do it yourself the next time you feel like playing.

Hello the D-guild! It's almost time for AktU-week! What is this, you might wonder? Well, it's a week AktU has filled with lots of fun things. If you want more details about the various events, check out the event on the website. On Monday, we have sewing night. This means you come to iDét and hang out while gluing on patches or sewing on your overall. While the glue dries, maybe you can play some board games. On Tuesday, we're offering climbing, but only for the first 30! So, fill out the form if you want to secure your spot. It's at Malmö Klättercenter (Kopparbergsgatan 8) from 3:45 PM, then you can stay for almost as long as you'd like. You get there on your own, and if you want to rent climbing shoes, you're responsible for that as well. But admission is free. Form! Only first 30. On Thursday, we're renting an entire cinema at Kino Lund (Kyrkogatan 3, 222 22 Lund) and watching The Lion King (1994) (in Swedish). Free admission too, but buy some snacks beforehand ;) On Friday, GeekenD starts. It's our last LAN party of the year. If you want us to help and bring your computer or are eager to do something, please fill in the form. While people are at the LAN, we'll have a Beatsaber tournament on Friday at 6 PM and our traditional Smash tournament on Saturday around 4 PM. Come and join! The whole weekend is filled with games, fun, and chill time. Fill in your interest! After GeekenD, on Sunday, our soccer team will play against another guild. Come along and cheer!!

Hello guild members! The mentoring program has been inactive for some time, but now it's time to restart it! The mentoring program is designed to allow students to have personal contact with an older student they can turn to for questions about their studies, the job market, or student life in general. As a mentor, you contribute to helping younger students find the right path in their student life and build more connections within the guild. Read more about the program and sign up with this link!
